Choose a new mobile service provider and plan that you want to switch to.
Obtain a Unique Porting Code (UPC) from your current service provider.
You can do this by sending an SMS to 1900 with the text "PORT" followed by your mobile number. You will receive a UPC in response.
Fill out the porting form provided by the new service provider. You will need to provide your UPC and other personal and account information.
Submit the completed form along with a copy of a valid government-issued photo ID to the new service provider.
Wait for the porting process to be completed. This can take up to 7 days. During this time, you may continue to use your current SIM card.
Once the porting process is complete, you will receive a new SIM card from the new service provider.
Insert this SIM card into your phone and activate it according to the instructions provided
Your phone number should now be transferred to the new service provider, and you can begin using their services.
Note: There may be charges associated with porting your SIM card, so be sure to check with both your current and new service providers for any fees that may apply.
